Feed me, Seymour!

I bought an Audrey off of Craigslist over the weekend. I pick it up tomorrow. I'm really looking forward to getting it, as I'm in love with anything that brings computers and the internet into other rooms of the house. And from what I'm reading on the web, these things are fairly easily hackable, so I can add or make programs to make it even better.

This is the first things I've bought off of someone from Craiglist, so I hope it doesn't turn out to be a big scam...

So did you finally get this thing?

Yes, I did. So far it seems pretty cool.

I haven't had a whole lot of time to play around with it yet, but I'm optimistic about what I can do with it. I'm trying to set up a separate blog to post my progress (which has been minimal), but I haven't had the time for that, either.

A separate blog? You mean your Audrey is going to get its own blog?

Your wife doesn't even have a blog. What is she going to think of this Audrey?

An Audrey! I was jealous, so I bought a Natasha off of Craigs List. Russian-made. It cleans my room, goes shopping, gives me foot massages. Unfortunately, it's not upgradeable and I have to return it after 6-months unless I marry it or it's green card is extended. The plug-in add ons are great: vaccuum cleaners, lawn mowers. I think I need to upgrade the memory though. It keeps calling me Igor for some reason. If it malfunctions, I just need to hit it on the side a few times like a TV on the fritz. I'll let you know how it goes. I might return it for a Helga if it keeps acting up.

The Audrey also has another unique feature that you forgot to mention. It is excellent at sitting around collecting dust while not being used for weeks at a time.

I couldn't resist.

"Dont throw out that receipt" Altough the dust collecting purpose seems useful. Your Audrey may have another...cash back! Here is an interesting article about tax deductions for tech purchases. From CNET-here is the link. Now who is laughing Amy.
